Having been nearly rammed into at full speed by someone turning across 4th Avenue, I'm going further here and saying that every intersection in the city should have turning phases, until drivers prove mature enough to handle anything else

I cycled in the rain for the first time ever yesterday and it was...totally fine? Like it was just so normal and boring I almost didn't tweet about it?
Really confused as to why people think rain would make cycling a less viable form of transport.
an essential worker was killed biking home from her ER shift four days ago on a street you declined to make safe for biking.
maybe a bit less saying "look carefully for cyclists" and a little more "doing your job" ok?
