For those who are new; I do pure anti-heightism advocacy. My work is apolitical, doesn't include any brosphere/pill ideologies, and isn't focused on dating preferences(although, I do sometimes discuss short men being considered lesser partners because of stereotypes etc)
@fffffjjjvvvyy They live in a separate reality. Even the ones who aren't good looking have lapses in understanding because they don't know what it's like for their masculinity to be challenged on a daily basis, their success dismissed as "overcompensation" or a made-up complex/syndrome, etc.
Tall men love to deny heightism by saying "My height hasn't helped me"(then list areas of life where they haven't succeeded). That's now how it works. In order to understand, you have to give-up every mediocre success you do have, then re-earn it by working several...
Seriously, you couldn't handle so many interactions being a check on your manhood or even the snide comments, looks, and tones that convey disgust with you for not being "a real man." You'd immediately beg for your old life back if you shrank yourself enough to feel the fury.
And you'd be extra screwed because whatever traits you have that somewhat mitigate your privilege as a tall man would be scrutinized even more intensely if you suddenly became short. You're not built to deal with what we deal with.
@escapetcm Imagine having a wage/promotion, assumed leadership potential gap that is heavily in your favor(for being tall) and this is the way you decide to try to make money because your lifelong privileges don't coddle your ego enough. TMS to the utmost extent.

@escapetcm The silliest thing about short men being removed from the gene pool is if we removed all current short men, the average men would then be the shortest and the same process would repeat itself.
@escapetcm And also, it's not a freaking contest. Even if short men were never threatened, how does that make stereotyping, discriminating in the workplace, the crazy suicide rate for short men etc acceptable? That logic is Typical Fallacy of Relative Privation nonsense
@escapetcm There was a study that showed serial killers prefer shorter victims. I guarantee assault and battery/robbery criminals also prefer shorter victims. Also, no one disputes that women being shorter makes them potential targets, but their tune changes when we discuss short men.
philosophies or political shilling, it's too easy to dismiss heightism discussion on those grounds without even considering the core of our arguments. Why run potential allies off with side quests before they even hear your main argument?
If someone wants to learn about heightism, they should be able to do so without having the requirement of also accepting a bunch of bropill speak or shilling for a specific political party, etc. Heightism works as a standalone issue, and if you mix in a bunch of edgelord..
