Heirloom:
On any swap that pushes wallet balance over 100k $HEIR, an heirloom is atomically minted as an NFT.
The heirloom tracks the owner's current $HEIR balance and age since mint. Users can add to their HEIR balance, but any sell resets the age back to zero.
Purely psychological at this point imo. A combination of relative friction and the capital that a chain attracts (and notoriously thin LPs).
Yes tooling (and speed) of other chains has improved to near the same level but early on it became a self-fulfilling cycle on Solana. Speed + low cost allowed for widely available tools that provided effortless multi-walleting, sniping and prio execution. Naturally this led to earlier tp levels, especially if you hold 10% of a coin and are happy to sell at 100k rather than 1M. As psychological price ceilings get lower it's only self-reinforcing as early sellers rarely get punished.
Heirloom introduces both valuable friction + mechanisms that tip incentives far in the favor of more long term aligned holders to hopefully break that self-reinforcing behavior.
I refuse to believe Solana traders are actually this much more jeety than traders on other chains. There has got to be some technical thing I’m not seeing that can explain how this is possible. I’m somewhat joking but not really. There’s actually gotta be something because it doesn’t make sense.
@toly@cavemanloverboy@smyyguy Hey Toly transfer hooks feel very under utilized on Solana.
Heirloom uses hooks to allow users to trade age weighted yield, represented as an NFT that transfers atomically with the owner's token supply. No keeper, no crank, no oracle, all onchain.

Heirloom is moving from Monad to Solana
We spent 6 months building on Monad, with the tireless technical support from the team. We truly wish the team all the best, and hope that one day we'll have the opportunity to work with each other again.
We are moving to Solana, but not other chains/L2s for the following reasons:
• Ecosystem TVL
• Sub-400ms
• Guaranteed 3 emoji quote tweet from @toly@Solana just happens to be the only option that has both speed and depth.
If you are consistently building in public on Solana you will get HUGE support with X:
• amplifications from @solanamobile & @solana
• quotes from @toly
• feedback from @lagunacarta & @0x_diablo
Keep building and join Solana Summer Season by @NOMADZxyz with USDC rewards.
"Everyone's been trading these 10k market cap coins and not holding anything. The hold time has been like 30 seconds...the way you actually make money during bull markets is holding things for an extended period of time" - @blknoiz06
He make's a compelling point. Is there anything out there that encourages holding via reward mechanisms enforced onchain?
@joshyote turning time into an appreciating and semi-liquid asset via bespoke AMM , time-weighted + token bound NFTs and transfer hooks to restore balance to the solana chain.
open-source, all on chain. no crank, no keeper, no server, no db, just hooks and CPIs.

@quanatee Love it. Yeah intentionally designed so that a 'smaller' holder who has been holding for 3 months outweighs a whale that just bought 1% of supply a day ago.
You don't need to hold an heirloom to benefit from upside and heirloom/HEIR appreciation.
The point is that heirlooms are coveted, and carry a premium with time and as the market matures. Keeping them scarce drives higher premium -> higher trade fees -> more buybacks of HEIR.
The effect is twofold, reducing circulating supply meaningfully by heavily incentivizing maintaining an heirloom's age.
3% of $HEIR supply already burnt and over 125 SOL in rewards for Heirloom holders.
Remember, heirlooms are tradeable, and the buyer inherits the the entire supply bound to that heirloom and the age. Any $HEIR sell from the new owner resets the age, and thus resets the heirloom reward weight.
Heirloom currently has a 1:3 liquidity:mcap ratio. It's not that this is particularly hard to achieve with the right curve/AMM design, people just got complacent with sub-par liquidity and nobody cared to do much about it.
Heirloom is fully open-source! We're looking for signers as we transfer program authority to a 2/3 multisig with a timelock.
Looking for reputable devs or figures in the Solana DeFi space or broader Solana ecosystem -- help us out @toly@trentdotsol@Trader_CSK ?
Heirloom functions entirely with no crank or keeper, no server and no database. All execution happens via token2022 transfer hooks, AMM instructions and CPIs.
