BREAKING NEWS: NTFS moment!

After nearly a decade, our NTFS driver got major improvements to a point you can finally install and use #ReactOS with it! Plus, NTFS formatting support is added, Windows compatible!!

Another dream of @HeisSpiter - and a step for Beta are achieved ;)

@reactos So sad to hear. Rest in peace. All my thoughts to his family.

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

@hanxhx_ @ponceto91 Non. Je me suis mis en retrait au printemps dernier.

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

Congratulations guys! :-)

[ReactOS @reactos]

Surprise and 6000th tweet!
With new FAT32 driver, #ReactOS can now hotplug and plug out USB mass storage devices without crashes!!!

For years, @HeisSpiter improved our CC and Jerome Gardou finished his work for properly running filesystems!
You achieved it - with your donations!

@reactos It's now live in @reactos HEAD (0.4.14-dev). Here is the local MountMgr database (in registry). Remote databases (FS based) are not supported because our NTFS support is too light.

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

Finally, after several months of work, mountain of fixes in the MountMgr, hacks in the storage stack, and a rewrite of a component of the kernel, here is MountMgr handle DOS devices in @reactos ! First step towards NT5 storage stack...

LUID mapped devices in action in @reactos.
After a month of development, it's now ready to get live in ReactOS!
Don't feel obliged to share your network drives to the whole system, keep them for you ;-).

[ReactOS @reactos]

And 3...2...1! #ReactOS 0.4.11 is out!! Supported new AHCI SATA controllers, more #Software working thanks to correct manifest loading, #RTL support, new Update feature... More info: https://t.co/mp7VlNh5Vs Download it from: https://t.co/PvUrU2bvrs Please retweet and share!

Here is my activity overview for 2018 on @github. Showing contributions to both @reactos and MS. Rather funny!

@kneekoo @reactos No, I just took their tool and reimplemented it using an open source license.

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

Don't want to use a CLI tool to manage your virtual CD-ROM devices in @reactos. Welcome the GUI tool! Just open-sourced it :-).
Nota: it doesn't have an icon, if you're motivated ;-).

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

@kneekoo @reactos Microsoft didn't open source it. I did!
@reactos already comes with vfd :-).

[Andrea 76 @LucaChess]

@HeisSpiter unbelievable! You are awesome

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

Finalllllllllly (yes!): extended TCP and UDP tables support implemented in the @reactos network stack. And improved our netstat so that it can display owner PID!
Enjoy :-)

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

In a move for checking whether @reactos was able to properly listen on incoming connections, I ended up implementing TCP connections enumeration in kernel and user land... (info look a bit weird though)

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

TCP socket state defined!
@reactos now has a fully working netstat :-)

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

@Jeditobe @reactos There is no reason it helps on that issue.

[Pierre Schweitzer 🏳️‍🌈  @HeisSpiter]

@msuiche @reactos No idea. Would deserve a try ;-)
