Today I responded to my first Code Blue as a nurse. As I was running down the halls of the hospital I realized this is it. This is what I've been working my ass off for the past 4 years.. Today I saved a life, and realized I truly love my job 👩🏻‍⚕️❤️

the amount of ppl i see at work a night that dont properly understand the definition of an EMERGENCY as opposed to an acute or chronic illness that needs an outpatient SPECIALTY consult and not EMERGENCY PROVIDERS is fucking immeasurable.
