Today I responded to my first Code Blue as a nurse. As I was running down the halls of the hospital I realized this is it. This is what I've been working my ass off for the past 4 years.. Today I saved a life, and realized I truly love my job 👩🏻⚕️❤️
i can’t believe some people just don’t have anxiety. how are you doing? do you worry? do you think about everything at once ever? or is it just quiet up there in the ol noggin
If you’re in hospital leadership/management right now & you’re still showing up to work in anything but sneakers & scrubs you are telling your staff you refuse to truly support them.
A nurse leader of bedside staff shows UP at the bedside & “get their hands dirty.”
the amount of ppl i see at work a night that dont properly understand the definition of an EMERGENCY as opposed to an acute or chronic illness that needs an outpatient SPECIALTY consult and not EMERGENCY PROVIDERS is fucking immeasurable.
like i need to be paid more
Everytime someone suggests camping in a tent to me, I pull out the ole quote from Mike out like:
“No thank you.. a Heisler’s idea of camping is a Holiday Inn, so that’s gonna be a no from me.”
