@Cwtch_2 @Tycerrr_ @silentwisperer_ If Mojang added some type of beacon that would negate the seasonal effects in one area, giving the player full control of their worlds it could work. But I don’t know if Mojang would add something like that.

@Cwtch_2 @Tycerrr_ @silentwisperer_ Yeah, but the player is still in control with cooper, you can wax it. And the changes don’t have to involve gameplay, the aesthetics also counts. Say you’ve build an tropical environment in your world, but then Mojang adds a season update and now it snows in there. Kinda ruins it

@Tycerrr_ @silentwisperer_ Like in 1.13 when they announced more realistic water physics that would ruin old contraptions, so it got scrapped. Our when they changed the game’s combat and players started only playing in 1.8.

@Tycerrr_ @silentwisperer_ Yeah, maybe could work but like keep inventory true, an off switch would be considered “cheating”. So a lot of players wouldn’t turn that off
This whole thing is about how they would do this without ruining old worlds.

@Tycerrr_ @silentwisperer_ Actually they can’t add seasons to the game. Mojang has a bunch of game design principles, one of them is that the player has to be in control of everything. The game can’t make undesirable changes to your world, that’s why they don’t add stuff like natural disasters.

@TeKeHall @Pencilman_draws Bryan O’ Malley posted a tie-in comic for the game, which summarizes the events of the comics which means it’s in it’s universe which doesn’t make much sense cause Sex-Bomb-Omb still exists and Knives is in it. (He did mention the movie & anime may be canon though)
