@tmbg This song has a lot of fanmade music videos and at least two ukulele covers. I've always liked it and I love that it's somehow become an obscure yt meme
@RightRebel12@Maarva_Andor No one is arguing that HRT doesn't lower bone density. Doctors go over this stuff during treatment. It's really not that significant though. Transfems just might have hip problems a little earlier than other people. You know, when they're old.
@MClaudioLewis @legoman0721 Ohhhhh I wanted to take this class, I think. It was too early for me but I heard the professor asked questions about sex stuff and the class used buzzers to vote anonymously. Am I thinking of something else?
@MaddyThorson I'm not on here very often but I just wanted to say you rule and I rolled credits on Celeste about 3-4 months into HRT, and it was super cathartic and awesome. Theo didn't like the pie and I LOL'd. 10/10
@JFMcGillicuddy @MST3K Pretty sure the show was always woke/progressive. They were making fun of the blindingly white casts of 60s movies in the very first season. There were always riffs that called out sexism and racism. Maybe try watching an episode of the show.
@SomeMoreNews@drmistercody@katystoll This is a lyric from "Lust For Life" by Iggy Pop. This still doesn't explain what the holiday is but it was the first thing I thought of
@PushinUpRoses Adam Neely has a video about this style of sax solo. Apparently this was a thing a lot of saxophonists did at the time. It feels like something Grampa Simpson would ramble about but it was totally "the style at the time"
THR has obtained a photo of Jay Johnston from a party last October in which he appeared to be dressed as the so-called "Qanon Shaman," who previously pled guilty to storming the Capitol on Jan. 6 https://t.co/cR2Cgwh0Z6
The post-Mr. Show career arcs of some of its cast are fascinating:
- Bob Odenkirk - beloved Emmy-nominated actor
- David Cross - successful actor/stand-up
- Tom Kenny - voice acting legend
- Scott Aukerman - podcast king
- Jay Johnston - Jan. 6 defendant
