Important to know: Iceland (the Supermarket) sells baby formula at cost price on principle. It's against the law to promote this discount, hence word of mouth. If you know someone who's struggling to buy formula you can point them there.

@AmysMargin I can accurately eyeball 200 ml of any liquid in any container.....only 200 ml though, if I need any other volume I have to use a measuring jug 😅

@TheStrugglingS4 Aside from the mental health cost, that i think many people have identified. I didn't realise I would lose myself so much. When I finished, being a "PhD student" had defined my life so much that I didn't know who I was when I wasn't that anymore.

@jenmgshe @nanopore Thank you! I think that is a large factor in job hunt failure, that I'm not willing to move again! I might be shooting myself in the foot, but me & my family just feel so settled here and we bought our first house last year....another choice I'm questioning now! 😅

@jenmgshe Aww, thank you! 😊 I am considering everything at the minute! 😅So far most of the feedback has been that I've either not got enough 'experience in a similar role' or I'm over qualified! 😬 Makes me really wish I'd done an apprenticeship instead of Uni!

@martacecchinato @Momademia Was worth it. But there are many other opportunities I've passed on because I don't think they're worth extra guilt. I think everyone just has to find their own internal balance, but accepting that you will feel guilty in one way or another, no matter what you do, helps for me!
