@Headteacherchat We are the opposite. We have a long waiting list. We get a lot of SEND children also we are Ofsted outstanding in a poor area.
But we do so much. A food bank, play and stay. Forest schools. Therapy dog and more.
@brclothwrites I'm a school librarian and I've been asked to purchase 600 books for prizes by Friday.
Apparently they don't care what the books are.
So no pressure
This final half term can be a hard one for so many youngsters. Lots of other children talking about summer holidays to look forward to (when they don’t),the uncertainty of transition to high school or even a new year group,the ‘fun’ they should have as it’s summer. Keep an even closer eye on those children that are finding it hard. They may show it in different ways: tears, quiet, challenging behaviour.
Started watching FNCS last night with my oldest. No idea what was happening. But enjoyed the time with him. So going to do it all again tonight. You can do it Clix
