I don't think we can continue much longer and that's a terrifying thought. We have over 100 dogs in our care, besides getting medical help for cats in the area.

Unfortunately 'Likes' don't keep us going, but they do make it seem we're getting more support than we actually are.

Donations are dropping every month, bills are mounting and we are truly desperate! I hate putting out these begging tweets, but I have to because not only can we not get in front and breathe, we are failing.
We're cutting back wherever we can, without being neglectful of the ones already in our care. We certainly can't take anymore in and we've had to stop giving any help to street dogs. It's a terrible feeling, knowing they're suffering and we can do nothing about it.

If you support large animal rescuers with plenty of exposure, PLEASE consider donating to us just this once, a tiny organisation trying to do everything to help as many sick, abused and abandoned dogs and cats as possible. We don't get any help from the government or any other organisations. It's basically just me, begging for donations, desperate to get in front for once.

Our lovely, lively little Smudge had parvo a couple of weeks ago, but it was so soon after losing Oakley, I didn't want to report on the bad news.
Parvo is highly dangerous for dogs, but especially puppies, so here's the signs we look out for: Loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, not drinking and lethargy. Don't hang around if you see these symptoms! We got Smudge straight to the vet and on IV to get him hydrated. Time is so important! The chances of survival are very low once it starts to take hold.
Luckily, Smudge survived, but that was largely down to immediate intensive care 🙏🏻🐾😍
We're ecstatic that he's back to being a playful little scamp 😁😍
Get your puppies vaccinated as soon as they're ready, but make sure they're fit enough to handle the vaccination first. Keep them up to date with vaccinations. We want zero numbers suffering the nightmare of parvo ❤

Please help us to keep going 🙏🏻 Vet bills are very costly on top of all our other outgoings 😞 The price of a coffee can make a huge difference to these dogs and cats lives. We try to help as many as possible 🙏🏻🐾🐶😺❤

Today is a wonderful day at LAW! 😍
Berani has finally left the clinic and is joining her new family at our Celuk Buluh shelter 😁🥰 We'll keep her separate for a week or two to let her settle in and get used to her new surroundings, gradually introducing her to a couple of the other dogs. She's very friendly with humans, but very nervous around other dogs at the moment.
The guy who alerted us to her has let us down very badly 😞 He said he would like to adopt her when she was better and would fundraise to help us pay for the veterinary care. Now he's changed his mind about adopting her and hasn't raised a penny 😢
We're determined Berani will have a good home with us and be well taken care of, regardless! ❤ We never put them back out on the streets to fend for themselves.
In 2 weeks she'll be sterilised too. One of our goals is to try to get the numbers of unwanted puppies down, so every dog under our care goes through the procedure to battle those numbers.

Veterinary care is very costly, even with charity status discount, it drains the funds drastically 😩 Please help us to get the best care possible for our lovely rescues. Any amount donated is always gratefully received 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A little update on Berani ❤
Today her temperature is normal 🙏🏻 It's been a real rollercoaster ride with it going up and down. The first time she actually wagged her tail today when she went outside 😍😍😍 She has more energy and her appetite is really good too! 😊 She still has a long way to go, but the little signs are good. She seems to be moving in the right direction 😍🙏🏻
Later today she's going to have another medicated bath, which will help her skin problems and fur growth.
She truly is a little warrior!!! 😍❤

This little baby was dumped right outside my home 😞 She was terrified when I went to her, so the chase began. Running through rice fields and climbing over fences isn't my idea of fun when I've just woken up 😂
She's snuggled down now and waiting for Putu to come and take her to the vet for a checkover. I can see she's got skin problems, ticks and fleas, but hopefully that's the worst of it 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I've named her Queenie 🥰
