Oriental Turtle Dove was a nice surprise at Bishops Pool this morning (8th record if accepted) + Hobby, Barn Owl, 70+ Bee eater, Grey Wagtail, Olivaceous Warbler, Reed Warbler, 3 Blackcap, Lesser Whitethroat, Wood Warbler, 20+ Willow Warbler & 7 Spotted Flycatcher.

A showy Desert Wheatear was a nice surprise at Ladyโs Mile today (rare in autumn in Cyprus) + 12 White Stork, Osprey, 30 Honey Buzzard, 2 Steppe Buzzard, Hobby, 12 Eleonoraโs Falcon, 5 Sparrowhawk & Isabelline Wheatear.

Over 1000 European Honey Buzzard passed Akrotiri Water Tower this morning, always a joy to watch each autumn!
Surprisingly, not much else on the move: 8 Marsh Harrier, Pallid Harrier, 50+ European Bee eater & 2 Spotted Flycatcher.

I have relatives staying at Olympic Lagoon resort in Paphos. @KanikaHotels do not allow ANY outside guests to visit their relatives staying in the hotel. No day passes allowed. Staff were rude and unhelpful. I wonโt be recommending that hotel for relatives to stay in!
