23 yrs a Dr, 14+ yrs an EM consultant. Never have I seen patients receive such suboptimal care and be at such risk. They are coming to serious harm as are ED staff who feel overwhelmed, broken, abandoned. This was predictable and preventable. @NHSMillion @RCollEM @doctor_oxford

@FredLongworth How wonderful! My daughter was so excited to find out about Chester when she visited the Inclusion Centre on the recent open day at her brother's school. We have a much loved support dog who visits the Emergency Department I work in. It's such a joy to have animals around us ❤

@EmergMedDr Silent fireworks are already available. The bangs are absolutely bloody inappropriate and should be banned. We have a house of refugees and animals who are shaking. 😥

I’ve never seen anything like this. Yesterday we installed a displaced pet feeding station in Kramatorsk (with your support!). This morning, the Ukrainian dogs waited in line to eat. 🇺🇦🐕

@nysuri Completely agree. I'm late 40s. The on-calls, in particular for me, are physically and mentally harmful. I love EM. My ED medical and nursing colleagues are fantastic, many of them friends for >20y - It should be the best job in the world and yet it is like f'ing hell.

@thehistoryguy Miners and their families built this country. They were exploited to their deaths in many cases and lived lives of utter desperation before being labelled the "enemy within". It's absolutely heartbreaking to think of the families who will still be affected by this.
