@kerriknibbs The inlaws said their Norwegian ruise was excellent. I've done the Fjords as a day cruise, and I think that's the best way to see them. I would think the company you go with is very important. What's included as standard etc.
@UnofficialOA It was the only way I could get into teaching as it was a comparable salary to my job at the time. However, I have heard many stories of people quitting straight afterwards.
@MissCatnach@CitizensAdvice@NHSEngland Yes, the midwife should have given you a certificate. I got mine at 20 weeks. It's also needed by the school HR. Hopefully some can help.
@TeachersRunClub Baby has been born, and i'm back to my weights class twice a week. We all take our babies, and they sit in a circle interacting with each other while the mums do exercises in a circle around them π My next step is to work slowly up to a 5km run again.
@TeachandProsper No I don't think, I've been finding it relaxing these last few weeks. Though being on maternity leave has meant i've started to watch Eastenders again! π¬ The storyline is so easy to pick up π€£
@TeachandProsper Thanks. As soon as I can, but i'm tied to the timetable and childcare. So I think running will be easier in the short term as the weather just needs to be OK.
@TeachandProsper I ran before pregnancy and then had to stop as it was too painful. Then I started to do a strength class during pregnancy which I really enjoyed. Not huge weights - just lots of exercises building strength. I really loved it. Currently walking as baby is only 5 weeks old π
@TeachandProsper There's something to be said about running though. Apart from weight loss (combined with a sensible diet) it's good to get out in the fresh air, I say hello to the neighbours when I go out, running clubs are fun and different terrains make it interesting. Weights are also fun!
@CampbellGeog I live in near both. They are both good subjects for cosstal regeneration rather than physical fieldwork. Reculver (nearish to Margate) is good for physical fieldwork - there are sea defences and a non protected stretch of coast.
@LeeBraganza I've had the poo up the back scenario earlier, then a feed, then more poo and a whole outfit change, then wind and then another feed! This is the baby, not me π¬
@TeachandProsper No time/energy at the moment to do anything other than walk as baby is 3 wks old. Before, swimming on a Friday night and Sunday morning or running x 2-3 times a week plus pilates. Why - because I am obsessed with the high afterwards + I just feel better for it π
