An important, well-researched and well-written piece about emotional health by writer Ann Jacobus. Even if you’re not a writer, I recommend reading it. It will have resonance!

Writers rock and the ones I met at the Writing Barb this weekend were The Best! Thank you to agent Lauren Spieller and author Laura Weymouth for your inspiring words, energy & support.

[Courage to Create Community with Bethany Hegedus @CTCWriters]

18 writers led by @laurenspieller and @lauraeweymouth spent the weekend delving deeply into craft, creativity, fears, hopes, and what gives each of them the courage to create. It was an amazing intensive @TheWritingBarn! #amwriting #community #craft #creativity #couragetocreate

I'm supporting Daraja today, because a sisterhood of graduates like this can create a life-long network of powerful professional women and community leaders.

Just saw this quote in the Rome airport, which sums up my new life philosophy. "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page."--Augustinus

[Helen Pyne @HelenPyne]
