I am grateful for Love.

Sometime last year, a handsome man who lives two hours away from my city drove down just to have a quick drink with me, plan was to head back after the drink. He saw me & almost didn’t want to leave again. 🤭

He spent the entire day with me. We had dinner after the drink, took a walk, & did some window shopping. That night, he searched for a hotel in my city so we could hangout again the next day.
The next day he picked me up, and we had lunch, saw a movie, had some ice cream, shopped, and strolled around until nightfall.
Then he extended his stay at the hotel again, this time bcos he wanted us to watch another movie and try a Chinese restaurant we found. 😄

What was supposed to be a quick drink turned into three days together.
It’s been almost a year now, and he always finds a way to be with me. And when he truly can’t, it genuinely upsets him.

Today, I am grateful for love, grateful for this person.

May the spark that lights up his green eyes every time he sees me never fade, may it always remain warm, gentle, and steady. ❤️
