Hey MT! If you want to help pass our FF Protection act call 406-444-4800 and leave a short message supporting SB160 to the operator. Tell them it's for the House Business and Labor Committee.

HFD responded to a mutual aid incident with Montana City VFD as well as many other departments. Great work to all involved! We are extremely grateful for a great relationship with our neighbors! #timetorollsomehose #IAFF448

Helena firefighters and our mutual aid partners are on scene of a structure fire on the south east side of town. Please give us room to work and we will update when more information is available. #iaff448

Today we held a mock wildland fire in the south hills. Given the rain we have had, this could still be a real life scenario! The grass doesn’t retain moisture if it’s dead!

Tonight we held a promotion ceremony for some fantastic people! Congratulations to Lieutenant Koeppen, Lieutenant Menghini, Captain Buresh, and Deputy Fire Marshal Taylor! You all are outstanding people and The City of Helena is lucky to have you!
