192 mikes later we skirted the coast and decended into Robin Hoods Bay on day 13. En route Little Beck had an amazing enchanted wood complete with a waterfall. @HelenePopp6's blisters had blisters, l escaped lightly by comparison.

Day 6 of #CoastToCoast and we have entered #YorkshireDales. Bleak, beautiful moorland, with a more remote feeling. Bashed out 32km, and treated ourselves to a hotel in Kirkby Stephens.

Day 7 of #CoastToCoast in the #YorkshireDales. Moorland walking was uneven but we passed the halfway point of the village of Keld. Following the Swale river we encountered the remnants of smelt mills. Wainwright described this as 'containing little beauty' but l disagree

I switched to @virginmedia because they have the fastest broadband in my area, but it has been cutting off all week. What good is fast internet if it's not stable? I feel like they lured me into a contract with high speeds and now I'm stuck with a broadband I can't work with.
