Hong Kongers have started #ABC_challenge (Anywhere but China) to boycott Chinese products and reduce dependency on China.
Feel free to join!
There are currently throngs of protestors & journalists being detained on the streets of Mong Kok by riot police *all being shown on the HK Police’s own livestream*. Hi-vis jackets & helmets emblazoned with ‘Press’ clearly seen. HKPF animals targeting anyone & anything tonight.
The Chinese Communist Party even used the pandemic as cover to arrest peaceful Hong Kong democracy activists, including my old friend Martin Lee. I suppose they thought the rest of the world might be too distracted to notice. They were mistaken.
@HKDemocrats@TedHui@ChuHoiDick @ray_slowbeat @AlvinYeungnk @ClaudiaMCMo @tedhuichifung The @HKDemocrats's Andrew Wan, who appears to have been injured during the scuffle in the legislative conference room earlier, is taken away by first aid officers.

Police have just pepper-sprayed reporters in IFC mall. From the looks of things, this was completely gratuitous. There was no one who could have been perceived as non-reporters in the vicinity, so this was a definite targeting of journalists. Here are a couple of the victims.
Pro-democracy activists from Hong Kong call on European Parliament to support them in defending the freedom of the city. #StandWithHK#MartinLee#AlanLeong https://t.co/qDn5JUGjxD
With Hong Kong's protest movement halted by coronavirus restrictions, protesters are resisting through a "yellow economy," a philosophy of boycotting China & supporting shops that openly support democratic change.

Unbelievable - how can democratically elected legislators be physically & brutally dragged out of the legislature by the Chinese Communist Party's thugs?
Yet another brutal assault on the few thin threads that remain of anything resembling democracy in #HongKong
Just outrageous
While the chaos ensue in Legislative Council, #HongKong protesters recreate the scene on #AnimalCrossing with Starry Lee smirking on the chairman seat, surrounded by security.
