I normally donโt like addressing people like Art, since it usually ends up being a waste of time. But after seeing comments like this for about a year, I think itโs time to say something.
I donโt bring people onto the org as tokens. I bring on people who I believe have potential, who I enjoy talking with, and who I think could be a good fit.
FemShep was brought on as a general member and content creator, not someone expected to bring titles to the org. If youโve paid attention, Paragon already has plenty of those, including several EVO wins!
The idea that I would invest my own money, time, energy, and more into someone just because they check a few DEI boxes is ridiculous. The FGC is already incredibly diverse, and thatโs one of the best things about it. I donโt need to push an agenda here.
Now, Art, the next time you feel the need to speak about my members, maybe remember the self-hating comments you made to my team and me when you were begging us to work with you.
Though honestly, I donโt think anyone would be surprised to hear that you consider yourself and a few others in the FGC as โsome of the good ones.โ
Just thinking about the time a well known right wing grifter in the FGC said:
"@ParagonFGC is part of the problem with the current FGC."
I take great pride that we're the exact opposite of everything that he promotes.
This is my favorite evo moment, @FGCFlash used my set up at the beastcoast booth labbing out this exact scenario and a couple hours later pulls it off in this set- truly one of the greatest fgc moments Iโve gotten to experience
On Monday, I was laid off from my role as Director of Content for M80.
If anyone is looking for a director, producer, commentator, whatever โ I'm seeking a new role in media, marketing, or content strategy (NYC-based or remote).
RTs appreciated <3
