The GOP just unveiled the “Judicial Accountability Act.” Under this proposal, any judge who releases violent criminals on low or zero bail would face up to 10 years in prison and permanent disbarment if that offender commits another crime within a year. Their decisions would also be listed in a public database for full transparency. Democrats are calling it an attack on “judicial independence.”
