Supergirl was a solid movie, a lot better than expected based off online discourse. Milly and Ruthye were fantastic, Mamao was solid. Story beats were okay. Music choice was god awful though, should’ve just kept to the original score. 3/5

As the gamers are being attacked for being "afraid of women" for disliking God of War Laufey, the same gamers are obsessed with Tasha from the Ace Combat 8 reveal trailer, and some of the other teaser materials, where she only shows up in a few minor portions.

Seems like gamers are NOT afraid of "women" in games. They just don't like a certain kind of woman in games, and yet a conventionally attractive, petite, pink-haired girl gets a lot of positive attention.

Hmmm, what could be the difference here?

Maybe gamers are just sick of betrayed expectations where they expected to see Kratos, and you end up playing as a middle-aged mom instead.

The reality is appeal.

Without appealing characters, games flop, and even a character like her, who shows up in tiny portions of the promotional material, is enough to get a lot of people interested.
