Please support our dune stabilisation work in Mali to reclaim farmland and rivers. A gift of £20 will be DOUBLED for this week only and will help people like Alpha: “ We can now farm and fish in the river again. The good old days are back...” https://t.co/nc6koolh5t
Every donation we receive this week (22nd-29th April) will be DOUBLED through @BigGive to support some of the poorest people in Mali to reclaim their farmland and rivers that have been destroyed by sand dunes. Please give what you can. Thank you.
A huge THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone who gave so amazingly generously to the Christmas water campaign with Big Give. It is miraculous that we reached our target of £80,000. This will completely transform the lives of thousands of people who are desperate for water.
Just a few hour left until noon Tuesday to have your donation for water in rural Mali doubled! Villages are living with a desperate water shortage. Just £4 will provide someone with a clean water supply for life and will completely change the life of the village
@whitestrat69@CarolineLucas Some villages have been trying to dig a well for 20 years without success. It is very difficult in sandy terrain where the water table is deep. And the problem is that earth dug wells are unhygienic and collapse in heavier rain that has been happening in recent years.
