It is located in the province of Massa-Carrara.

Its characteristic is that it is built on the rock.

Yesterday I talk you about a famous path, more precisely about Via Francigena.

It is famous because it was driven by the pilgrims in Roman age and also even now many tourists want to do the experience to walk on this millennial path.

Lunigiana is situated at North of Tuscany but a little piece of this region is also in Liguria.
In fact in Sarzana (a common of Liguria) were found “Statue stele” incise stones that are a the symbol of this land.

You can admire this ones at Museo delle Statue Stele in Pontremoli
