@bsmcfadden@transitapp@cta Not the *technically* 😩 But yes, valid point. I emailed them about this in September and about another issue re: Brown Line in November and other than confirmation of report submissions, no fixes yet. Here’s hoping this time is different 🤞🏽
Hey, @transitapp. Some time ago (months? years?), I reported a bug. The app shows a transfer from @cta 82 bus to Blue Line incorrectly. It suggests Kimball/Barry when it should suggest Kimball/Belmont to get on at Belmont Blue Line. The Blue Line stop location is off. Any fix?
How are these headways acceptable for the third-highest ridership rapid transit line in the third-biggest city in the country? @cta, please do better. @ctaaction
Hey @transitapp, can you take a look into your trackers for @cta? Not sure what happened this past month, but the trackers in app are not showing trains or arrival times that other trackers do show. The Brown and Purple Lines in the Loop are particularly bad.
@MoneyPenney142 @AshleyMeninelli@Hertz Did either of you ever get a resolution? They're trying to do the same to me, but this whole thing reeks of a scam.
This change, along with price increases effective this year, the elimination of the equity zone, and dramatic decrease of non-ebike availability pushed me to decide that I’ll not be renewing my membership next month after being a member of almost 10 years. #DumpDivvy
Dear @DivvyBikes, it was actually easier to share rides with guest passes as they were free rides, including e-bikes. Now that’s been replaced with free unlocks? How’s that easier? If anything, it adds a cost barrier, making it harder to share rides with friends.
@AskAmex@johnoriley10 I was unable to access the travel portal for most of yesterday. When I finally could access it again, I couldn’t book a hotel. I called, and they told me the room is not actually available? Why does the portal still advertise 3 rooms left then? This whole exp has been frustrating
Thankfully, I’m fine, just scuffed with bruises and scrapes. It’s sad that this crash could have likely been avoided if @ChicagoDOT would fill in the bike lane gap along Lawrence between the river and Central Park. That stretch of Lawrence is extremely hostile.
Somewhat relatedly, today I crashed a @DivvyBikes and fell onto the curb to avoid being struck by a car near Lawrence/Sacramento. Now unrideable (see pic), I parked it at a nearby pole and got charged, whereas before I wouldn’t. Talk about adding insult to injury.
Have the recent @DivvyBikes changes affected you? If so, tell them (and hopefully @ChicagoDOT) at the next public forum on Saturday, May 21 at 11 am. Register at https://t.co/9e72icC34N and spread the word!
Key takeaways from the 1st @DivvyBikes public forum:
1) They’re not phasing out classic bikes despite previous reports saying so
2) D4E $10 credit is only temporary(?) for 12 months to ease transition
3) Chunks of Chicago won’t have access to classic bikes
@streetsblogchi
Living at the edge of the service area, it’s sad to see that when @DivvyBikes expands to serve the rest of my neighborhood, it will be ebike only. I won’t be able to ride without being charged. There won’t be a no-cost option without classic bikes. @ChicagoDOT
