Regarding this coming Sunday’s readings:

A pastor can probably say “σκυβαλα” from the pulpit.

He probably shouldn’t say the closest English equivalent. 💩

@ThatAstrosGirl Do you give a quiz every time the Astros lose? That would be awesome

[Helmsknight @Helmsknight]

@ThatAstrosGirl Noooooo

[Helmsknight @Helmsknight]

I didn’t boo my team when they were losing 100 + a season. You won’t catch me booing them now. LETS GO ASTROS!

[Helmsknight @Helmsknight]

Let’s go Astros!

@mandalynns23 It’s best to work with them at the earliest. The older they get the harder it is to make them forget the non preferred learned behaviors and teach the preferred.

An interesting revelation from Yordan Alvarez this afternoon: he had a trainer that traveled with him throughout the season in order to make sure he stayed on the field and healthy all season.

[Helmsknight @Helmsknight]

@TexasMike1776 Yep, they don’t indoctrinate.

Apathy is a Christian virtue.

What the Bible says about apathy is interesting: God is apathetic! Not that He doesn't care, but rather that He is not changeable according to His passions.

Christian apathy is a taking a godly long view of things, and it actually helps us to serve our neighbor according to God's command.
