It could have been a good addition of protein and nutrients. Trying out with barley, unfortunately barley seeds are not available in Imphal! They are buying it from Amazon, apparently barley grows faster too, fingers crossed the ponies hopefully like it๐ค
Before spending much money to construct the hydroponic shed the boys on the ground experimented wheat seeds to see if our ponies like to eat them. After 7 days ponies were fed with the wheat plants, no our ponies are choosy, they donโt like it!
Had a good meeting with some pony owners today to experiment growing Hydroponic Fodder in Manipur. This could be a very good nutritional supplement for the ponies to start with.

"If you don't want us to be a part of the country, we'll go with our land somewhere!" - Seilen Haokip to News9.
Questions:
Which land is he talking about?
Where is he threatening to go?
The last time I checked, he is not even indigenous to Manipur. His origin is Myanmar, and he got his last name from her mother's second husband, P Haokip (Chief of Saitu). As for his community leaving India, can we help pack their bags, please? Peace will prevail with their EXIT.

Anyone who loves Manipur should cherish the Manipuri Ponies, essential to the state's identity. These guardians of our legacy urgently need our support-both short-term assistance and long-term efforts to create sustainable economic incentives for their owners. (1/x)

Manipuri ponies were traditionally semi wild, they roamed freely in the open grasslands, forests, and wetlands of Manipur, largely independent but occasionally interacting with humans for specific purposes, such as during festivals, rituals, or in polo matches. (1/x)
