Final tweet for #FathersDay.
I’ve listened to men unable to speak about the sense of loss when not seeing their children.
If you too have listened to that silence, you will know it’s unforgettable.

We totally agree, the delays in private law are fracturing relationship between loving parents and children often irreparably and setting one parent against another wholly unnecessarily and giving gaps for false ideology to set in and fester…
@drsue2014 If only the LA had spent as much, and their resources, helping this mother. I'm afraid your assessment of the little girl's future correct. Very bleak. And for mother too. 💔
We are deeply saddened to be informed of the passing of our colleague Richard Hoseason.
@compactjam
Richard was a shining light and beacon of hope for so many people who sought help from him as a McKenzie Friend.
He will be deeply missed & difficult to replace.
RIP Richard.
@RegardingThat @50Lux14 @Rainmaker1973 Already in San Fransisco, laws are being made, and unmade, about the use of 'killer robots' by police.

"To be a child who is the subject of disputed court proceedings is not a happy experience. Indeed, it is potentially harmful and can lead to long-term adverse emotional and relational damage"

Our next Therapeutic Parenting Listen and Learning Online Circle will take place on Wednesday 16 November 2022 between 19:00 - 21:00 GMT via Zoom. More details, here: https://t.co/bo7eG8Fk4h
We will of course be supporting our colleagues in @ManKindInit on their launch of Supporting Male Victims of Domestic Abuse Day on Wed 2nd November
Men face 32% of domestic abuse crime in NI. And 5 males lost their live to domestic abuse last year in NI
Help us make a difference
@drsue2014@BAILII In our reality 'gender' has little to do with breaking Court Orders. The fact they are broken so frequently, or even ignored completely, is a problem made by the Family Courts. As Sir James Munby said 'An order is an order'.
#FamilyLaw#FamilyCourt#ChildArrangements
@drsue2014 2/2 Domestic Abuse is gender neutral, not one sided. Those who don't understand that, frankly, shouldn't be writing any papers, or conducting one sided research.
@drsue2014 1/2 The repeated association of 'perpetrator’s/father’s' is unbalanced.
We support many fathers and their children who have 'live with' Orders and are victims of 'perpetrator’s/mother’s'.
An adversarial system which still focuses on establishing which is the better parent, and enhancing hostility between parents in this process, will always fail children.
Why no media outcry? Children prevented from seeing safe, good mums or dads for years ... 3.5k children in family court for 2 years, 15k for a year. Family court is failing most vulnerable - children.
