The People’s Liberation Army of China… a steadfast support for citizens in times of need
The PLA’s role goes far beyond military duties.
It regularly takes part in relief operations, rescue missions, and disaster‑response efforts, providing essential assistance and support to citizens whenever needed.
A 17-year-old valedictorian, Leen Hijaz, used her graduation speech to speak for the voiceless: "Millions suffering in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Afghanistan. Families torn apart by ICE."
The school administrator cut her mic. Told her: "If you don't stop, you're not graduating." They withheld her diploma for four days.

🚨I'm flying from Xinjiang to Gansu now. Listen to the announcement in the Uygur language.
And remember this next time the Western conspiracy theory mill tells you Uygur people are forbidden from using their language.
One of the most beautiful moments of childhood… when the rain turns into a game, and a mother’s laughter with her child becomes a memory that lasts a lifetime.
Few people know that in 2024, China witnessed a life-or-death dash stretching 2,700 kilometers that tugged at the heartstrings of the whole nation. The protagonist is a blind father from Pishan County, Hotan, Xinjiang.
Two years prior, he and his disabled wife, who suffers from leg impairment, lost their daughter. Now their only remaining infant son, little Zati, was diagnosed with severe congenital heart disease. Local doctors recommended urgent transfer to West China Hospital, Sichuan University — a top-tier institution renowned for cardiovascular treatment. Yet traveling nearly 3,000 kilometers to Chengdu meant prohibitive travel costs and an uncertain medical future, weighing heavily on a family already broken by cascading tragedies.
Desperate and helpless, the visually impaired father recalled a journalist leaving a helpline during a livestream, promising assistance to anyone in hardship. In October 2024, Wu Zhongmin, a journalist based in Jiangxi over 3,000 kilometers away, answered the desperate long-distance call from the father. Upon learning their plight, he immediately led his team to Xinjiang and resolved to livestream the entire journey accompanying the baby for life-saving treatment.
Once the ambulance set off, more than 40 media outlets across the country joined the live broadcast, with over six million netizens tuning in to keep a virtual vigil over the fragile newborn online.
Midway, at two-fifths of the total route, the monitor inside the ambulance suddenly blared a shrill alarm: little Zati’s eyes rolled back, his body went limp, and his blood oxygen levels plummeted sharply, instantly sending millions of viewers into panic. Fighting against time, the on-board medical staff administered all-out emergency rescue, and against the odds, a miracle happened — the baby pulled through the life-threatening crisis.
What moved countless people further was that to save precious minutes, traffic on Chengdu’s Ring Expressway was cleared amid evening rush hour, while all passing vehicles voluntarily pulled over to make way for the life-saving convoy. When the ambulance pulled up outside West China Hospital and its doors swung open, crowds of locals who’d waited spontaneously burst into thunderous applause...
One desperate call. A nation’s answer.
Love is the miracle that never fails.
