Think about children with disabilities without capacity when they turn 18. #carers have no longer the rights to care for their medical needs, but yet still being paid #Carersallowance and still in charge of their #EHCP ?!? So why at 18 do carers lose the right to be still in charge of the H in the EHCP. They don’t magically have capacity at 18, so why stop #ParentsCarers from still #caring 
Unless they pay money, fill out more paperwork, and go to court!?! Costing carers (which not everyone has the money to pay) and the tax papers money.
In the meantime, these wonderful disabled adults without capacity, who wouldn’t even be able to operate the #DigitalIDScheme , and also don’t understand giving their consent to their medical needs. They have no voice if they go to hospital, because #parentcarers are their voices normally and they are denied to care and be their voice, because of the above. In which sadly countless do pass away. Don’t steal the voice of the voiceless, let them keep that voice when they turn 18

Fifteen years ago, Tabitha had her feeding tube removed in Graz, Austria — a moment we once only dreamed of. The journey has been long, filled with hospital stays, hope, fundraising and the incredible kindness of so many who helped us along the way.
