I realize DnD is based on historical times when people didn't have pets, but rather had livestock and work animals... but if we can have pseudodragon familiars, more NPCs should have cats, dogs, birds, and various rodents as companions! #dnd #ttrpg

@XPWebSeries @facetankhank Same reason nobles hoarded more gold than they could ever realistically spend in the medieval times (and today...)- it's a compulsion. They're addicted to seeing their hoard grow. It's illogical and impractical, but they can't stop. Dragons were always metaphors for the rich.
