On Saturday 4 December 2021,The Helping Cub Team had a small group of representatives hand over the donations collected from the #pawsforchange drive.
The stationery and uniforms were donated to the young children at Kambuzuma Drop Centre where 50 children are taken care of.
There is a box at Art Attack Avondale available for dropping off donations of stationery for our latest drive!

We all know after exam season most of the stationery used ends up in the bin or lost somewhere in the house. This time we could put that stationery to use, especially uniforms!
Join us in our ‘Paws for change drive’ and help someone in need. More information coming soon.
We are partnering up with Girl Up Hre in this amazing project to help the young adults/ children at Northcot Training Institute. This project will run through to September.

We donated a portion of the collections to Shungu Dzevana Children’s Home on Saturday 21 August. We managed to donate 2500 pads (inclusive of the 80 reusable pads) to the 35 girls that live there.
As one door closes, another door opens! Join us in our partnership to help in this #1000Pad campaign.
It’s unfortunate that in this modern society young girls and women still have to struggle with finding the right sanitary products at an affordable price.

Alongside having food to sustain themselves, they also have a steady source of income as they currently sell some of the vegetables!
Thank you for helping us with the Winter Drive, it was entirely a success thanks to you.
We managed to collect 4 boxes along with many plastic bags!
These donations were given to L’Arche which has 22 co-members and Kasipiti Children’s home which has 19 children.
