A great morning of hurling. First time ever a hurling game has been held in Tampere in what may well be the northern most game ever. Today Tampere took the win, and the Fr. Pizza McShovel as the prize (massive credit to Paddy Reynolds of the Harps for this). Finnish Hurling abú!

Big announcement! Two years since the pizza shovel incident, there is now three hurling clubs in Finland and a new trophy, handmade by @paddyreynolds. Next Saturday, who will take home the "All-Finland Fr. Pizza McShovel memorial sheild"?? @TampereGaelsGAA or Helsinki Harps??!!

The sun was shining. Two great sides. The stakes were high. All on the line. While the victory went to the Harps this time (congrats @HelsinkiHarps powerful today) seeing the hurling grow and level raise up was the best take away. Onwards and upwards 👍
