During a TV interview this week, Israeli Knesset Member Ofer Kasif acknowledged that Israel holds the vast majority of Palestinian detainees unlawfully, describing it as kidnapping.
Kasif faced intense criticism from settlers for speaking out publicly, as he demanded the release of innocent Palestinians held without charge.
"They haven't stood in trial, there is no charge against them, most of them are also released without charge. It's administrative arrests, which is a laundered name for the kidnapped. This is the truth we need to admit it," he said.
