Chaired a review meeting of the Department of Health and Family Welfare at Janata Bhawan this afternoon.

The meeting involved a detailed review of the progress of various healthcare schemes, programmes and developmental works being implemented under the department.

Particular emphasis was placed on discussing the progress, implementation and related issues concerning various programmes under the Food Safety Department, the Drugs Control Department and the National Health Mission. Discussions also covered improving the quality of healthcare services, ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for the public, and enhancing the efficiency of departmental operations.

The meeting was attended by Director of Health and Family Welfare Dr. P. Ashok Babu, IAS, Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Assam, Dr. Lakshmanan S., and senior officials of the Health Department.
