Hemp is less susceptible to climate shocks and is our most complete source of plant-based protein.

In 2018 we sought industrial development in line with IPCC science to reflect new priorities in a changed global reality. We were met by coercive State discourse designed to win tacit public consent for the destruction of our sector & its transfer to global corporate interests

The farm above is now in ruin, the livelihood of the family is destroyed, their adult children are gone from home and all because Stephen Donnelly was able to define an EU agricultural crop as a dangerous drug in Irish law based on nothing more concrete than his own opinion.
