I am deeply troubled about pensioner poverty this winter. Y day I met with Wakefield Council leaders and am delighted they will provide warm community rooms for all on cold days. They are also campaigning to ensure every pensioner in our area gets their full benefits

Parliament scenes were shameful
My heart is with the dead innocents and my feelings are for the tens of thousands in our country who have demanded peace
And end to the slaughter.
The wealth of Britain’s billionaires has risen from £53.9 billion in 1990 to more than £653 billion in 2022.

We remember
Never forget and never forgive.

The shortage of decent and secure accommodation is at the root of why bad landlords are empowered to exploit their tenants.
It is extremely disappointing to see Labour MP @peterkyle calling Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf “Muhammad” on Sky News.
We hope this can be corrected urgently on the public record and an apology issued.
