The Hendon Band of The Salvation Army is a Christian band that forms part of the Hendon Corps (@SAHendon), a @salvationarmyuk church in Hendon, London.
As we enter 2021, we will continue to be there for the most vulnerable in our local communities across the UK for as long as we are needed. From everyone here at The Salvation Army, we wish you a peaceful New Year. #HappyNewYear
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
1/2 Our international leader has called The Salvation Army to stand against racism. @GeneralBPeddle: “I am asking Salvationists to join me in denouncing racism. If repentance is appropriate, then repent. If we can rise up together and be light in the darkness, then rise up!”
Remember to join us daily at 12pm, as we pray for people across the world impacted by #coronavirus. We join with other churches across the nation in prayer daily. May God give strength, courage and hope for all those who are troubled during these difficult times. #handstogether

- See if they need any help with shopping
- Encourage them to stay active in the home

Be still my soul the Lord is on thy side
Stand calm within the storm of grief and pain.
Trust in Thy God to order and provide
Through every change his faithful light remains.
Be still my soul the restful peace within
Through trying times leads to a joyful end.
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty,
God in three persons, blessèd Trinity!
