The 7th and 8th graders wrapped up their astronomy unit by becoming NASA engineers! They had to design a Mars Rover (out of pasta) that could travel down a ramp and across βMartianβ soil.

One of the best parts of having pre-k theough 12th grade all in one building is the influence the older students have on the younger ones. They are always watching; make good choices!
We received a couple of sweet thank youβs to the 1st-4th grade students for the May Day baskets they made. Their kind gesture brought some big smiles to faces that day! π

Sophie Johnson, Senior at Hendricks Public School has been awarded the ITC Telecom Dean. E Anderson Scholarship for $600.00. Sophie plans to attend Southwest Minnesota State University in the Fall. Congratulations Sophie!
Mr. Chick and Rowdy the Redhawk take the HAWKS winners downtown for a treat. One student from each grade was drawn to receive recognition for their efforts to make Hendricks Public School a better place to be.
