A reminder to members of the Clubs Annual General Meeting on the 2nd of December at 7.30pm in Westbury on Trym Village Hall. Please do come and join us and if you can’t don’t forget to submit a proxy vote (form available in AGM email, also hard copies available at the Lake).
Great talk about bikes and philosophy by @jetmcdonald at the Lake based on his book Mind is the Ride - Life, the universe and everything, explained through bike parts and a ride from Bristol to India
From recent testing blue green algae levels have reduced but we need to remain vigilant. We will actively watch for and disperse algae scums, using the aerator overnight and update you if reported levels change.
There are no more available swim tests slots today or tomorrow I'm afraid. Please do not come on the off chance we can fit you in as we wont be able to and you will be turned away. Sorry 😒
Please see email sent regarding parking - the Club will take disciplinary action where inconsiderate parking by a member (including that of any guest) and community access user is evidenced. This is something no one wants to pursue but we will do if deemed necessary.

Blue Green Algae Levels
The most recent results of the latest analysis of blue-green algae shows we are over the Environments Agencies’ guidelines and are at Alert level 1. We will use the aerator and actively monitor and disperse any algae scums https://t.co/sf6VocRgzt
