Going private for a few days due to very persistent group of bots posing as the same woman that has been trying to "follow" me for this past week or two. No matter how often I block them, they keep popping up in my notifications. Hopefully this solves the issue
@MikeyNohMore General audiences usually aren't so invested in these niche movies culture wars, and hot topic movies tend to succeed or bomb for many reasons well outside of politics.
@MikeyNohMore Agreed, and these commenters are putting so much stock into a handful of youtube channels getting their predictions of a single movie's box office wrong.
@Mosghos@WxPolitics15 I miss the old google reverse image function when you simply plugged in an image, and it offered you linked websites in a single page
@Mosghos@WxPolitics15 The today's reverse image search function is similarly broken. Half the time, it doesn't bring up any articles for the searched image, and there so many tabs to navigate through. The AI overview tends to be incoherent, and often comes up with the wrong answers.
@LonesomeWest I couldn’t find any news articles with her name attached to a murderer acquittal in Maryland, and she also lacks portfolios or websites promoting her supposed practice. Furthermore, her name is absent from Maryland courts’ attorney search. https://t.co/V8zmoP3pJG
@LonesomeWest Funny enough, I don't think this Allison Widder person is even an attorney. Although she bragged of "acquitting 2 falsely accused murderers this year”, absolutely nothing comes up when I google searched her name.
@NataliaAntonova "Some of these ppl have an obvious fetish for their clients"
Ricky Earp, a guy who raped an infant girl so violently that she died of injuries to her privates, married his defense attorney on death row.
@tweets4twits I apologize for blowing up your inbox with that huge string of tweets, I really hate how impossible it is to write long form comments on twitter without a paid subscription.
@tweets4twits Regardless of all the modern American prison system’s flaws, it’s a far more controlled means of criminal punishment than the more traditional revenge killings.
@Langerhans_isle Another problem is that they often treat therapy as a magic wand. As beneficial therapy is, it’s only effective if the patient genuinely wants to change. Some people are simply sadists that enjoy hurting others too much, and prison is a vital public safety net against that
@Langerhans_isle All the prison abolitionist posts I’ve seen on social media are purely poetry speech and Trump deflections. It’s almost as if they’re acting purely out of emotional attachment to inmates, and are refusing to see how dangerous those inmates can often be
