One of my daughters who is in grade 2, attending Upper Mount Gravatt State School has recently encountered a serious case of bullying. I share these stories with the permission of both the mothers of the daughter effect directly by these incidents.

Screaming and yelling to be let go.

The girls mothers have spoken to the school who insist that it is nothing, it's just playing around.

How can we accept this culture of abuse and bullying? I can't help but think if we accept this behaviour now when he is in grade 2

When do we say no? When do we start saying this kind of behaviour is unacceptable?

I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT!
