@MADUJR01 The bigger mind is set to be on the stage! What an opportunity to have Dr Saraki speak on the state of the nation without fear, without bias!
JUST 2 DAYS TO GO!
My leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON), is stepping on stage at The Platform Nigeria this Friday !
Date: Friday, 12th June 2026
Time: 9:00 AM
Venue: Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja
Theme: Governance. Democracy.
National Security.Nigeria has plenty of questions… and this time, someone is finally ready to answer them honestly and plainly - no more tiptoeing !
Dr. Saraki has never been afraid to speak truth to power. Whether you agree with him or not, you know he will deliver. Don’t watch the highlights later. Don’t rely on second-hand reports. Be there when it’s said!
Your Excellency @RealAARahman, it is deeply concerning that individuals can move freely around Kwara State with weapons like this in broad daylight. With the current security challenges, allowing this poses a huge risk to citizens. We need immediate action. #KwaraSecurity
The Next Senate Assembly: Ending Executive Interference in the Election of the Senate President
One of the reasons why the 9th and 10th Senate Assemblies fell so badly can be attributed to the undue influence of the Executive in the election process of the Senate President.
As long as the Executive continues to influence the emergence of Senate leadership, the Legislature will not function optimally.
I sincerely hope that the next Senate Assembly will not perform worse than the current one, given the reported efforts of Senator Hope Uzodimma to succeed Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Sincerely speaking, I have nothing against Senator Hope Uzodimma or his ambition to become the next Senate President.
However, he does not appear to be someone who would strongly uphold the independence of the Senate.
Again, the Executive must not be allowed to influence the election of the next Senate President. That practice is undermining our democracy and weakening the independence of the Legislature.
We can recall with nostalgia how the 8th Senate Assembly, under the leadership of Dr. Bukola Saraki, performed and left a good legacy that is yet to be surpassed by the 9th and 10th Senate Assemblies.
Back then, the Executive and the national leadership of the APC preferred Senator Ahmad Lawan, believing he would be more subservient to President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, against all odds, Dr. Bukola Saraki emerged as Senate President, and his performance is a testament to why the Executive should not be allowed to determine Senate leadership.
As we prepare for the upcoming general election, I sincerely hope that Nigerians will elect more competent representatives to the National Assembly.

I love that Dr. Saraki made a post concerning the new fame of Zadok Yohanna... What people see is usually the fame and the glory but not many understand the resilience and mental strength it takes to establish institutions that stands the test of time.
I am just reading that Zadok Yohanna passed through the Kwara Football Academy's feeder team and he played for Kwara United.
Emmanuel Dennis, Kamaldeen Abduljelili, Raymond Japhet, Ahmed Abdul Taofeek and now Zadok Yohanna... Even the legendary Jose Mourinho - All through Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
