@LondonLions@SprLeagueBballM Trying to spin this as a great thing for kids is insane too. You’ve taken the game away from loyal fans of both you and @Surrey89ers who stuck around after your previous owners tried to kill the sport on this country. Just admit you’ve royally cocked up and apologise.
@LondonLions@SprLeagueBballM So, this means that Surrey fans are excluded on 5 days’ notice? If SLB is to be treated as a serious league, playing games behind closed doors should (absent pandemics) be prohibited. Does the League intend to take any disciplinary action about this?
@LondonLions@SprLeagueBballM As usual, London Lions playing by their own rules
Oh well, I’m just not allowed to watch my own team - last time they bankrupted the league and put lots of people out of work
Good old London, some things never change!
Kind of insane that there's no info on this only 4 days before the game. If @LondonLions can't host the game in a venue where fans can attend, frankly they should be forced to forfeit. How is this a professional competition? @SprLeagueBballM@Surrey89ers
@LondonLions when do tickets go on sale for the trophy game against @Surrey89ers ?
I checked ticketmaster but they weren’t there which seemed odd given the game is only 12 days away ?
@saintpat1962 And isn’t one of those BBF board members SLB referee Gavin Williams? Would love to hear something from him for once. Especially with the current refereeing situation …
@bballengland “The league would be operated through a company owned by the participating clubs, which will have a Board that includes representatives of the clubs.”
This sounds like a really good idea. I wonder if the top division could work like that ……………..
@_TaylorMade25 Would you be willing to comment at all about the “competition manipulation” ban from FIBA/British basketball? A lot of Scorchers fans just want some details/context where there is none.
