@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Why didn't you ask Nancy Pelosi about her and her husband's stock trading? i understand the format is meant to be less combative but you both talk at great length about restoring confidence in politics and seemed to omit her public support for what is effectively insider trading.
@TheNewsAgents@maitlis@jonsopel@lewis_goodall But in reality when compared with the likes of Woodrow Wilson who showed pro KKK propaganda in the White House, to call him amongst the two worst presidents in the 20th century is misguided at best
@TheNewsAgents@maitlis@jonsopel@lewis_goodall the example of Calvin Coolidge as a bad president in the 20th century is befuddling, one of the few US presidents to protect Native American and African American civil rights, and furthering women’s suffrage, he may not have been the most economically literate us president ever…
@TheNewsAgents@GlobalPlayer@lewis_goodall I think you should do a podcast on HSBC’s support for the CCP’s repressive fugitive offender act in hong kong and it’s stripping of independence activist assets it seems a severe breach of human rights. Oh wait your balls deep in their dirty cash
@nickrtaylor2280@mrjamesob Dipshit they were found guilty of the US legal equivalent of insurrection, seditious conspiracy charges and conspiracy to obstruct an official preceding, well over a 1000 people were convicted. Just because the specific charge wasn’t named insurrection doesn’t mean shit
@codepink I’m sorry you’re counting the fucking cod wars in that list what planet are you living on one fucking person died in all 3 wars and you count that as a genuine conflict
@HTiddles 1. Fucking watch it their definition of target was too vague so they killed people who weren’t even taliban 2. Stooping to their level makes us just as bad as them and at that point why would we even bother to give women schooling or treat them like humans
@hoffman_noa Interested to know do you really think you weren’t fed the story about Chris pincher given you were a complete newbie and would have had almost no sources seems rather lucky to me.
@markmongie@elonmusk I think you’re forgetting the basic fact that children mortality rates have heavily decreased so having 5 kids a hundred years ago probably only 2 would survive whereas now you’re much more likely to never lose a child so people have less kids.
@wecricket_ Pretty decent but i think they finally realised the problem is cost of grounds and kits for local teams. think they should have done a bit on gully cricket and organised some tape ball games much cheaper and quicker while also being a stepping stone for hard ball.
@im_vik17_@Ocean01003716 @ethano_t @_kezx In that “bad” year he averaged 37 still with 2 centuries kohli hasn’t had a bad year he’s been averaging under 32 for 3 years with no tons comparisons
@j_brorsson@wholemars@joeys_lady Maybe not sustainable but incredibly safe apart from Chernobyl, the ‘worst’ modern nuclear accident Fukushima killed one person directly from radiation whereas the tsunami killed 19,747 people. Many More people died in the surrounding area from lack of electricity than radiation.
@realMikeBrew@wholemars While I agree that climate change doomers aren’t helping anyone and are ignoring the massive advances in renewable energy and mass awareness. The science is largely accurate and sufficient to know that even best case scenario people will die from climate change.
@realMikeBrew@wholemars Ignores two things 1. Climate related deaths is stupidly vague, are we talking pollution, storms, radiation?
2. Correlation does not imply causality. You simply cannot account for factors like better health care, weather forecasting and coal/lead petrol, all effect death figures.
@earthboundAngie @thetopjob @BelindaJones68 People think electricity is just electricity but it depends when you can make electrity even though wind and solar are the cheapest by a mile they depend on external factors while a nuclear plant is environmentally friendly and able to produce a steady background of supply.
@ariadneassoc @AlexHartley93 Probably not as it would be the same theory as allowing pat cummins to bowl in womens games (which would end horribly for woman’s batters), the two formats are separated.
@farouche71 @brettwrice @Yeeeeeeeeeeet11@elonmusk Too true there is also a massive difference between a trained soldier having a weapon compared to rednecks and gangsters.
@shionamc@DCMS@Ofcom Social media personality’s shouldn’t have to abide by tighter labelling rules because anyway the regulations are unjustly tilted to make them follow rules that no other uk tv or film organisation has to, ever seen a declaration of sponsorship in a movie or tv outside the credits?
@TimothyBuffett@elonmusk@pmarca As much as the censoring net does catch too many innocent people, the net is their for a reason and that reason is to stop groups of absolutely insane people who clearly need help and are heading further down the rabbit hole because of social media. Example: atomwaffen division
