Delighted that Maze wound up on Bank Street's 2021 best children's book list, even though they placed it in the Magical Realism category, while it's obviously Realistic Magicalism. (Realistic Magicalism is similar to Magical Realism, but utilizes more cumbersome word choices.)
Magic of Reading https://t.co/ID1F8dEqB5 via @YouTube Here's a lovely shareable one-minute promotion for reading, kids, and reading-to-kids from my friends at Calgary Reads. Canada is looking more attractive every day.
The Washington Post says of What We Found in the Corn Maze, “You never know what’s going to happen next in this funny book!” I couldn’t have asked for a better review. (And the illustration is animated!)

#LBYREdNight Wow. Like having been at a party where everybody's talking at once - can't wait to return tomorrow and sort through all the captured conversations. That's why this works....
#LBYREdNight A1 Shared? Anything with laughs in it. True Meaning of Smekday; Timmy Failure (to prep kids for Pearls Before Swine); Tapper Twins; Home Sweet Motel; Half Magic; Origami Yoda; I, Funny (because, hey, James Patterson really needs a plug from me).
#LBYREdNight Henry Clark here, and I would love to say that as the author of What We Found in the Sofa, all the couches pictured on this title card have something to do with my book. But they don’t. (They do, however, reflect my preferred location at this time of day.)
Yup, we're giving away 3 Advanced Readers Copies of Corn Maze, to be selected at random. (Original plan, for author to deliver copies in person, has been scuttled.)
Today Alex and Barry are halfway thru the Calgary Reads FB read-aloud of What We Found in the Sofa. Can't wait to hear the next chapter! https://t.co/agYEymRtnH
