Really pleased how the black grouse numbers are coming on. The populations do of course cycle like all other wildlife but the general trend is upwards. I saw 73 black grouse yesterday over 2 leks - really uplifting to witness in these times of so much doom and gloom for nature and wildlife.
Magnus the Walrus seems to like it on the Moray Firth - this morning in Findochty - and everyone respectful at a distance just enjoying seeing something #Magnus#walrus@BBCScotlandNews#Moray#Scotland
