@AlbionAnalysis Best ability is availability, doesn't matter how good he is on his day if his day only comes around twice a season. We all know wherever he goes to next will have a good player on their hands and knowing our luck he'll never be injured again but we can't afford gambles atm

@dunnda I like him a lot, think he's probably the most talented player in the league, but I think if we're gonna stick with the 442 we need someone with more legs in midfield, Diakite works well in the system but I'd like to see another athlete in there as an option

Can't imagine he's told them to do that, maybe put it on the keeper let the players attack it but tell me which player we have fit currently who can attack the ball. This isn't saying we're not terrible at attacking and defending set pieces

@0wenWB4 @psclarke86 Of the 3 permanent signings that haven't worked out yet, all 3 were deemed excellent business in the summer. We can say in hindsight that they were bad signings but they weren't at the time, I'm not sure id put that on the owners and board and more on the players form

@BurgerSight @AlbionGuji Think form and confidence are turning good signings into awful players. Looking back at the summer most would've only complained we didn't replace fellows. Hindsight means these players should've never been signed and all the transfers were failures but it doesn't work like that

@danrbowen I think the main issue from yesterday was being overrun in midfield, couldn't keep hold of the ball and Norwich with a few passes were in our final third. If we are married to a 5, go 532 and get some bodies in there, if not 433

@rickyleegriffi They're professional footballers. Yes the system was wrong, yes played out of position, but why does that excuse pulling out of challenges, not being able to make a 5 yard pass, dribbling straight into defenders. Players have to hold accountability at a performance as bad as that

@rickyleegriffi You're probably right, normally 1/2 stick around but I think it's more rare these days 3 managers in a row chose the staff already at the club they're moving too than their own. I'd rather have the next manager come in and work with people they've worked with for years

@BigBobFootball Completely agree, and I think that's ok, 1 heggem pays for 5 Frabottas financially. My main concern is a 1/3 hit rate isn't too bad when you're having a complete squad reshuffle, but I'd imagine going forward we'll be looking at 3 signings a year. We can't have 2 of those be bad.

They also have more misses than hits but it's quickly forgotten when you sell a player like caicedo and make big money. Theres been a lot of misses but if you get the odd gem like heggem it's worth it
