this is a really interesting take, not so hot of a take in europe due to some core cultural differences (a lot happier of a middle class where different classes are viewed more equally)

there's also the chinese reality where you need to test a high % to make it to high school vs trade school

the german system where they identify early which kids are gonna be aerospace engineers and which kids are gonna be ditch diggers and separate them into different schools that better suit their aptitude or lack thereof is an infinitely better system than "no child left behind"
