@profkrodriguez was born in New York City, received his Master of Divinity from TEDS, and is a PhD candidate at Baylor University’s Truett Seminary with a focus on the Latino/a homiletical tradition. His dissertation considers how the preacher-as-storyteller can reframe the collective identity of Dominican people after the Trujillo Dictatorship. He and his wife, Meredith, live in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood with their three sons.
