Your example is different though and is more in line with a 12yo shooting a home invader, not carrying in public.
I think prosecutors r going to focus on age and whether he was legally allowed to have the weapon there, gun charges

@EDeCaal @BlueDenimVodka @blcartwright @johnhawkinsrwn @peterjhasson While I agree that he had the right to self defense, that will likely be negated by the fact that he took a weapon across state lines (not sure of reciprocity here) and his age does play a role as in most states (afaik) he cannot legally carry.

@jonfitchdotnet We tried it... in the 1st week both students were suspended and one teacher was fired for drinking on the job 🤷‍♂️
Jokes aside, we have online with a teacher 3h a day and us for the rest. Kids love it and are learning valuable computer skills, daughter's a wiz in MS Teams
